I have recently completed the Basics to Beauty Masterclass with Alastair from Sensation Make-up Artistry. I was a little nervous to complete this class as I have major issues with my skin. I suffer from SLE Lupus which effects not only my major organs but my skin. I suffer with constant redness, otherwise known as a Butterfly Rash, blemishes and changing condition of my skin, on a daily basis.

I wanted to complete the Basics to Beauty Masterclass in the hope I would be able to learn successful techniques to cover my constant Butterfly Rash in particular.

I am so happy to say that with Alastair I have learnt so much! He has taught me how to cover the rash in away that has kept my makeup fresh, light and without the look of poly filler. I have learnt how to do these simple techniques though his guidance and the fact that it is all layed out clearly in his tutorial handbook makes it even easier to practice and develop your skills at home.

Alastair has given me the most amazing confidence in myself to know that people are not able to see the issues with my skin, to work with the changing condition of my skin and to make me feel that I can be presentable in business meetings and social events.

On a side note, Alastair has also provided his makeup services to me for a friend’s wedding. My hair and makeup was stunning. I had so many people comment on how lovely I looked, and I didn’t feel like I was overdone. His kills are incredible, and I felt amazing for the day and night.
